The Steve Sessions

Three years ago my friend Steve and I made some music at a time when we were listening to a lot of Mum and My Bloody Valentine. We didn't actually finish anything but here are a couple of clips.

Hey Way (with Candis)

A friend lent her lyric writing and vocal talents for this one. Working with her was a worthwhile change of pace (the bulk of this was completed in two sessions) and sound.

Dim Lights Everywhere

An unfinished demo. I was aiming to capture the feel of a Sigur Ros song, only with my Sax and electronics instead of a whole band of ambient Icelanders.

Alternate Ending

Short and to the point.

Here's a peek into a song I've retired from the Money Tree EP. There were many version of this song, but this is the only one with both a lullaby and the mention of scissors.

Blssk (2003)

Say it. It means percussive bliss.

Latchkey Snowflake (2004)

A song maybe about a snowflake's hardships. Maybe not.

Twenty-Seven Sided Blind Spot (2002)

Here's the oldest song I've posted on the site. My approach to this song would be different now, but even so I think this one still deserves a listen.
